We've
all heard about Chiropractors and Chiropractic care, but how much
do you really know?
You
may think that Chiropractic care is only for back and neck pain.
But the truth is, Chiropractic care addresses a wide variety of
common health problems stemming from dysfunction in your spinal
joints.
Everyday
wear and tear, old injuries, and even stress can cause your vertebrae
to lose their proper position. Spinal misalignments may be a source
of irritation to your nervous system, causing pain and nerve interference
throughout your body.
By
correcting spinal joint dysfunction, Chiropractic care helps your
body heal itself so you can feel your best.
Chiropractic
care utilizes the Chiropractic "adjustment". An adjustment
is designed to achieve several objectives: to decrease muscle
spasm (which causes pain), to help restore normal mobility to
the affected area, and to help the spine regain its normal curves.
This in turn aids in the proper nutrition of the joints and spine,
thereby decreasing irritation, inflammation and pain. Dr. Czajka
uses his hands to perform adjustments, along with specialized
tables and equipment, and may also use a small, hand-held instrument
(called an Activator.)
Adjustments
are continued as prescribed. Dr. Czajka may also employ additional
therapies, such as Traction, Ultrasound, Muscle Stim, Heat, Ice,
Exercise Programs, Stretching Programs, Assisted Exercise and
Stretching, Nutritional Counseling, Dietary Modification, Supplements,
Rest and other therapy as needed.
Our office concentrates on getting pain sufferers out of pain
fast. Some of our patients get better in one visit, some take
a little longer. At Discover Chiropractic Center, initial consultations
are free of charge to you. We will evaluate your condition and
let you know if we feel that we can help you. We do not accept
every case. If we feel that you would benefit from Chiropractic
care, we will tell you. If we cannot help you we will tell you.
If your pain does not get better on it's own or you are experiencing
pain radiating into your shoulders, arms, buttocks, legs, hands
